My centerline is 34" and still had to have the inboard CMI E-Tops custom canted.

I know with big chief heads you need to customize the fit of the headers by using a sledge hammer to reduce the width. Yes, this was actually done and yes the result was actually what you would expect, water leakage into the cylinder. Yeah those babies are going in....today! I got a great deal on those engines for some reason.

I feel your pain; Just finished a 33 Executioner, was built with 33" centers with TRS, 10 yrs ago switched to #4s moved out to 34", due to cmi e tops on 9.800 D.H. Just had someone move X dimension up 2", but put it back at 33" centers. Right back on top of each other again. E tops on 10.200 blocks are going to be tuff, unless they can shorten to bend @ the flange and roll it towards the valve cover.
I am guessing reggie did this for a resson. |
well still not in , that's all I can say been month n half now but getting closer . new motor mounts , full hydrollic steering added. complete new plumbing ,new trannys . flex plates . ugh. put one motor in fri , alignment way off . the saga continues , riggs marine says he thinks they will fit , fingers crossed .
