i tryed it once on a 515 bbc,,made no hp...

really no difference, go to there website read up to 47hp called them he said some show 10hpgains and others more it all in the setup

It does really depend on your combo and what you're trying to do. If you've got a slightly smaller then optimal carb, and you're looking for a little more mid - top end, then a tapered spacer might be worth some HP. Or, if you're turning lots of RPM with an intake that's a bit undersized. I've seen 15 to 20hp on the dyno plenty of times.

I went from a 1" open to a 1" Phenolic tapered spacer from Jomar on my 524. I never dynoed it, didn't have to my whole family noticed the difference. Difference in part throttle acceleration is phenomenal.
