Need help FAST!!!

I have what I think is a major problem. I have been smelling gas in the bilge well I just found out why!!! My tank has a crack. I can not get to it though. It appears that it is low in the tank on the back corner. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix the problem even a temperary fix until the fall so that I can enjoy what is left of the summer??? Any help would be great. It looks like a big job to pull the tank out. Cutting the floor and back seat bottom out. Not what I want to get into right now.
Thanks in advance.

Is trying to squeeze a few more months of boating worth your life. Remove the tank and fix it, or put in a temporary tank some where and use that one.

Temporary tank or not, the gas has still leaked into the boat. Time to hang up the keys and get out the saw.

You better bite the bullet and change it now. Running with a cobbled up tank may prevent you from having any other summers at all.

I bought a new boat in 1989 and aftera few hard runs I had a bilge full of fuel. I called the dealer and within hrs the fire dept, dealer, tank manufacturer and boat manufacterer were all over my boat pulling it out of the water and pumping everything out while the fire dept stood by. They took it away and had to take the boat apart to replace the tank. I didnt think it was that big of a deal but they acted like the world was coming to an end. Bite the bullet and replace it. Id call the manufacturer too, no matter how old it is. Might not get anywhere but you never know.
