Dana marine trim tab question.
 

It's cold here and I was browsing the Dana marine page, I noticed their hp1100 tabs with a 5" 30 degree kick at the end. Has anyone ran these and if so how does the the kick really work out? I took some conduit at work and cut a piece to 30" and bent a 30 degree angle with the bend at 5" from the end. Rotating it downward it appears it would only really deflect the water if it was almost fully down. Just curious if anyone runs these. Thanks in advance!
