will the GM bypass fit the merc oil Tstat? anyone know which hole it goes in? I'm thinkin 5 o'clock ....

part no 7 is the bypass valve,you unscrew the threaded peise that the filter screws on to,then you remove the valve,i use a welsh plug that comes from napa,i can give you the part no for the plug tomorrow if you would like,i bought a bag of them for 12 bucks,10 plugs i think.
