500efi intake on a 502mpi what is needed to make it work?
 

I want to get rid of that huge ugly mpi intake and dress the engine bay up a bit. I hear you can use a 500efi intake but I'm not getting a straight answer of what is needed to complete this swap completely?

Please help with any info

If that is your only reason for doing so, u will be wasting alot if money.
First off u will need a complete 500efi system. (Upper and lower intake,throttle body, fuel rails, injectors,adjustable fuel pressure regulator,) you can reuse the ecm but it will have to be remapped.
I was going to do the same but the total cost was around 3k all said and done for about 30 hp. Way not worth it.. but it u also swap the cam,rockers, and lifters. Then u can be in the ball park of 4k and 500hp but should also swap out for better exhaust. But for the what u are talking its alot.

If you deside to do it I have all you need .Like new....... $2000. obo just pulg and go I will ship.

I plan on doing exhaust at the same time I found an intake with rails and injectors, no throttle body but found one for 100 bucks... I also plan on doing a cam rockers lifters and heads next winter also and thought this would be a good start.

Can you reuse your injectors out of the mpi?

Injectors:
Early Style MPI-VST used the Kehein/Honda Injector
Late Style MPI-Cool-Fuel used the Weber Style injector
500/525 used the Bosch injector

Injectors will not interchange

For a whole lot less and better performance you can install a dominator EFI 4150/4500 series intake with an AccuFab TB, reuse your injectors, harness, ECU and make a real clean install. You will need to buy a new Flame arrestor.
