Key West Poker Run 2013
 

The future wife and I are planning on going to Key West in November for a little honey moon trip after we get married this coming May. I am looking on some information on where all the festivities happen so we can make a reservation for some place to stay, we want to be close to what is going on....Any help would be great, Thank You in advance.

We usually find a house close to duval st and rent scooters. Everything is close by scooter, and they are easy to park. Better book soon!

Thanks Baja, yes we are booking very soon just trying to get some ideas on where to stay, but we were already thinking the Duval Street area, I like the scooter idea, were flying in and were not planning on needing a car, just walking where we had to go but a scooter would be a hell of a good time.....Thank You for the information.

Scooter is about $30 bucks a day. There are some high end hotels in the area, as well as some quaint old homes for rent. The race viewing area and poker run village are a good distance apart if you are considering walking. Race weekend is a great week to visit. Great crowd, and lots going on. For a great honeymoon dinner, consider reserving a table at Latitudes on Sunset Key. Fantastic sunset! Free shuttle ferry. Be sure to arrive by 5:30 to see the sunset. Oh, and lots of BAD ASS boats!
