mechanical fuel pumps
i have a new set of 780 hp , blown 500,s going in a cig . i want to run mechanical fuel pump's . what pump do you guys run on your boats ?

you have to drill and add a small tube nipple to the pump housing for marine use . |

Kenny, I have similar power. I run the old fashioned six valve marine pumps. They have 1/2 NPT in/out. Self regulated. They work nice. Holley stopped making them a couple years ago, and now only offer a similar pump but with 3/8NPT in/out, or the billet pumps.
PM Mike Tkach here. He might have a pair of Holley Ultra Billet pumps, Teague Fuel log, twin regulators, the whole setup for you. He's switching to a totally different setup. (1200+HP). Maybe you can work something out with him. All his stuff is less than a year old and prob 20 hours on the stuff. |
