Is an Edelbrock 1410 right for me?
I have 454 mags completely stock and need intake manifolds and carbs. I was able to get two Edelbrock 1410 marine carbs for free. At 750 cfm they seem sized right for the motor. For you more experienced folks - would they be a good fit. And, if so, what intake manifold should I match them with? The motors are stock except for EMI manifolds and short risers. Thanks!

Gen 4 motor with rectangle intale ports.

Im not sure about the carbs, but I put a performer air gap rpm on my stock 454 mags with the factory carbs and emi thunder exhaust and the ran the best it ever ran last summer.

I have read a couple of posts about the Edelbrock air gap and its advantages for hot days. Good to hear a positive reccomendation for my set up. Thanks!

750 is just right for 454 inches. The Edelbrock RPM Air Gap seems to be the choice of dual plane intakes

That is what I thought from reading but I am an converted outboard guy and am new at this. Thx for the reply!

Put a 1410 on a 383 last summer ran great right out of the box, no Quadrajet bog.
