Need x dimension on Donzi 25 zx
 

While helping a buddy convert his alpha ss 87 Donzi 25zx boat to a bravo drive we found that the transom was rotten. Now that he has to put a new transom in, the thought of raising the x dimension has come up. Does anybody know what would be a good height to raise it? By doing some quick measurements if the cavitation plate is 2" above the bottom it requires raising the current setup up 2".
