???Can 250 chillers be modified to work with 177???
I can't seem to find any used chillers for my 177 B&M's...... Does anyone know if a superchiller for a 250 can be modified to work with 177 intake and supercharger?? What about making adapter sets for intakes and blowers?

Wouldn't you be better off going with a larger blower?
Do you want me to move this to the tech area? |

I would be better off I'm sure but I've got twins and that gets spendy, plus I'm spending tons of $$$ on other things. Another reason I ask is I found 2 250 chillers real cheap and I was a machinist for 18 years and wasn't sure if anyone had tried this. If I had a 250 chiller in front of me or all the demensions I could figure it out myself.
Good idea on moving it if you could. Thanks!!!! |
Thank adk61 also for your input...... I was afraid that might be the answer. As stated above, I found a set of 250 chillers for $300 and figured I'd see if it were possible. The motors didn't have chillers previously but I wanted to throw more boost at them.......

The 250 blower has a much longer (front to rear) case. The bolt pattern, intake openings, etc, is much different than the 177.

I see...... Yes definitely way too much fabrication needed. Thanks guys!!!!
