Trying to make sense of all those part numbers... I have an EFI 500, are the heads the same as 502 heads from what I'm reading?

Thanks-

That was my understanding also. 500HP and 500EFI had the 2.25 valves.

Same basic casting, but from my understanding, the blue motors were purchased as a longblock from GM, completely disassembled and then blueprinted and reassembled with upgraded valvetrain components, including billet Crane hyd roller cams, link bar hyd roller lifters, Crane gold roller rockers, upgraded valve springs, and the aforementioned Manley extreme duty inconel exhaust valves. I also think they changed the intake valves to 2.25" diameter from the stock 2.19" diameter. Bottom end is essentially the same in HP500 / EFI 500.
