Mercury Side Mount Control - Trailer Button
 

I am in the process redoing my dash panels. In anticipation of also changing to the Livorsi side mount control I relocated the "trailer trim" control to my front panel utililzing a momentary Carling rocker switch.

Has anyone done this conversion before? What should I look for? It appears that only two wires are going to the existing push button.
