I've had (vapor lock) issues
 
I will run my 454 efi/mp for 30 minutes and the kill it, and when i fire it back up itll start and run long enough to get on plane or idle for 5 minutes, then stall out. Is that what you have had happen with the vapor lock issue? Im hoping re routing that vent line will help me out

Yes, this can be one symptom.

First, Im sick of buying the $90 "vent seal Diaphragm" thing every year.
I would be concerned with why you need to buy a new diaphragm kit each year? I went 18 years on the original.
