I am very confident that the engines will continue to run at the same temps they do now. As long as the heat exchanger can dissipate the proper amount of heat, there will be no problems. Right now, the engines run about 150*.
Aluminum heads would be a great upgrade seeing that you are going closed. And would help with detonation issues should the temps increase. Good luck and keep us posted with what you find and how it turns out |
I was running 185 on a N/A 540 with afr heads. It probably would hold 150 F. I wanted temp.
