Remove baffles fromthru hull

Any body have any thoughts on good idea or not to remove baffles out of through hulls on 07 Baja 496 HO?

One of my good friends had this issue with a Baja 275 last year...he just changed out the tips....sounds a whole lot better...

That's the other thing mini bikes sound better (HAHA) did he find any other improvements?
