Question about oil?
 

I wanted to know if anyone could give me some plus and negatives between Amsoil and Penzoil. I run Amsoil right now but i am not to happy with it after pulling my motor apart. I have heard a few diffrent things but i wanted to of anyone that has seen a diffrence in the two. I am running twim merc 200s so any advice would be great. Thanks

Just my .02.....I would not use Pennzoil in anything! I took an engine apart one time that was a "Pennzoil motor" & the inside was just totally coated up with a waxy/parafin type sluge. YUK !!!
Pennzoil & Quaker are parafin based oils. I would stay away.

Have you tried RedLine? Ive never had any bad results with them. Even the two-stroke oils i have used in my Snowmobiles and jetskis and it made a noticible difference! For one they seem to have a peppier(sp) responce. And also tend to run cooler for some reason. And it even has a nice racetype smell to it too! May be woth a try...
