Something seems off. That's a lot of money in outboards for $35k.

FIXX 06-12-2013 10:30 PM

on the bottom of the page it reads.

The hull is a Chris craft

rchevelle71 06-13-2013 06:56 AM

I don't believe it is a chris, but if it were it would be a scorpion most likely. Does seem like a lot of motor for the $$

kakarot 06-13-2013 08:42 AM

I know it says Chris craft... But what model
I've googled and can't seem to find any Chris craft 38 with that same
Looking hull

ballz2thewall 06-13-2013 05:53 PM

its probably some sort of scam .If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Have you went to look at the boat in person or talked to the guy?

ballz2thewall 06-13-2013 05:55 PM

what year is it?

kakarot 06-13-2013 06:24 PM

Guy says is 88, I haven't seen the boat yet in person I"ll me going tmrw to go see it

ballz2thewall 06-14-2013 07:50 PM

Did you go check out the boat?

kakarot 06-14-2013 09:11 PM

I went the guy had another boat which to me indicates he likes boats and or knows about boats. So I asked few questions he acted stupid like he new nothing about boats, the boat seems like it was a drug boat, the floor in the front has two big fuel tanks they did a terrible job installing them the floor is straight then it has a big step and all that part is soft floor messed up. Couldn't get the engines fired it was out of battery... Tough luck

turbo rr 06-14-2013 09:19 PM

I thought it was a carrera. There are alot of boat flippers down there....Sometimes you get a decent deal. If those engines and hull check out it is alot of boat for the money.

kakarot 06-14-2013 10:04 PM

That's exactly what I was comparing it last night
To a Carrera.ill have to go with a friend that has
More knowledge of how to check a hull I guess

kakarot 06-15-2013 08:12 PM

No body knows what Chris craft this would be?

rchevelle71 06-15-2013 10:18 PM

Hull I.D. #'s would solve this

CDN 1 06-16-2013 12:46 AM

If You Do Buy It, Set Up the Boat properly On the Trailer Before you Haul for safety sake.
That Boat looks like O/B Conversion and Made into CC.
Check HIN# X2

kakarot 06-16-2013 10:19 AM

That's what I'll do, how can I check the HIN # and motor serial numbers to make sure everything is legal and not stolen?

kakarot 06-18-2013 12:53 PM

Ok I got the HIN # CCBA6121I788 it's actually a 35.2 I still can't find what model it is... It just looks like a chopped Carrera any body chime in

compedgemarine 06-18-2013 06:17 PM

CCB is a Chris Craft HIN but I dont recall any 35 footers. there was a couple of 31's, one with a transom cutout and one with a bracket. to be honest that does not even look like a Chris hull with the way the strakes run in the front. makes me wonder if someone built it and had a clean title for a Chris and changed the numbers?

kakarot 06-18-2013 08:52 PM

That's my concern no where on Internet I've seen any hull like that other than the 32 and 36 CC Carrera

osure 06-19-2013 09:04 AM

did he ever get motors running

Velocity Vector 06-19-2013 10:14 AM

Not much more than we already knew no model

kakarot 06-19-2013 01:01 PM

All three engines fired right up no problems no misfire, so then this is a bad hull to buy?

compedgemarine 06-21-2013 09:10 PM

first question is what are the engines, trailer, etc worth? if they add up to enough that the hull is basically free then it could be a deal. so long as the hull is solid and you are not worried that it truely is a Chris Craft then I would say look at it as a possible good deal.

HTRDLNCN 06-21-2013 09:53 PM

Looks like a Carrera 36 , does not look like a chris craft..
Here is pic of newer CARRERA 36 with rounded back, older models had a squared off back:

kakarot 06-22-2013 09:09 AM

All three engines are about 20-23K total trailer 2-3 hull 8-10 it's a fair deal but what concerns me
Is the hull it's an identical copy of the old inboard Carrera nothing to with Chris craft

kakarot 06-22-2013 09:16 AM

if you look here its the same hull....
