Need some input propping
 

This isn't a high performance propping question but I
figured I'd see if anyone has any ideas.
One of my co-workers has an 86 20' Rinker with a 305
(230hp), alpha 1 spinning a 19p 3-blade s/s prop. Stats
now are 51 mph (speedo) 4800 rpm and keeps climbing
due to no rev limiter. He has incredible holeshot and dosen't
want to loose that since he pulls tubers. I am thinking a
21p 3-blade myself. Anyone have any other ideas. Would
a 4-blade be a waste of time?

gota try testing, no positive answers

Try a 20" Turbo prop. Should have the same or better hole shot due to the ventilation holes and should bring the RPMs down just a tad on the top.

Thanks guys, I'll have him try the turbo prop and some
others. I guess like all propping, you have to test, test,
and test some more.
