38 Donzi ZR Tired of losing blades off my propellers

I have a friend with a 38 Donzi 2008 ZR with 525 Mercury engines and XR drives he has tried B Blade lab finished mercury props and herring props and At least once or twice a year he will throw one blade off a prop. I talk to other Donzi owner with the same boat as his and they've had the same problem I think they need to adjust there ex dimension by maybe installing spacers in there shorties. Has anyone else had the same problem and has anyone been able to figure out how to solve it Wayne

keep in mind that when a prop gets labbed the blades get thinner and that makes them weaker, also with high x dimention the blades are somewhat surfacing and this is hard on the blades because they get fatigued.this is why i am not a big fan of labbed props.

Had the same problem on an Awesome a few years back, bought a Hydromotive Quad four, problem solved.

The boat broke every prop we put on it and we ran this one for years.

Seems the two options are space down or run the 7 blade Herings, that has been working on the high-X Bravo Fountains.

You can try some 6 or 7 blade Herings.
