new iac and wont idle down

so i just installed a new iac in the 2000 502mag and went to start the motor and it wont idle down below 2500 rpm?? any ideas

I am sure there is a iac learn/reset when you install a new sensor. Did you do it?

+1 you need the ECM in "service mode" so it can self/recalibrate the IAC.
