brovo 1 upgrades

in order to reliably run 750-800 hp thru a brovo 1 what kind of upgrades are needed and at what cost? i assume bam has a complete kit to buy, would that be suitable or is it necessary to go to an sc drive?

I run 900 (NA) through a bravo with hard shafts in it, and a tweak by Merlin 540, he sets them up tighter and runs a little different needle bearings. I think it primarily depends on how you plan to use your boat. Depending on hull weight and driving habits a bravo will live. The killers are monstor torque down low and coming in and out of the water. In my Carrera rather than try to bonzai through really rough water (cruiser wakes, etc) I'll just get out of the throttle until the water gets better. So instead of hitting them at 80 or 90 I'll back it down to 50-60. Its lived for 2 yrs so I'll keep my fingers crossed. My hull weighs 4000# full of fuel.
