small block turbos
is a small block worth putting a turbo on or a supercharger,what is more reliable its going in a 21ft boat with a Volvo 290 drive

There was a badass phantom race boat with twin turbo small blocks 3-4 years ago. Was a cool boat!

I say go for it. Just keep your boost low since you cant really mount an intercooler any where. But as long as you are nice to your outdrive it should scream.

no,,you wont see much more speed with the 290 drive,,it take alot of hp to move them through the water..the design of the lower are not vary good and slows the boat way down..then best thing you can do is try a dp lower with ss peops and see where that gets you..i did a engine for a guy a few yes age in a hallett and he was running 60 mph,,we almost doubled his hp ..dyno pull b4 and after and the boat only picked up 8 mph because of the drive..lok into a merc drive then go from their..or find another boat like your with merc emgine and drive..
