reversion - riser solution with stock manifolds or complete change up

I'm working on fixing reversion problems... at the moment it only appears after long no-wake runs, etc.

Current setup is: The engine is a gen 6 502 with crane 741 cam, hydraulic roller lifters, comp roller rockers, merlin heads with dual valve springs, holley 850 - 1998 25 Outlaw / bravo 1

Have stock GLM manifold and risers currently.

Would these risers help and/or work with the stock manifold?

http://www.cpperformance.com/p-26864...um-risers.aspx

Which other GIL setup would help...looking on CP Performance website (and others) there are many different setups listed like the wet offshore system and HP500 setups, etc. Also was checking out the stainless marine hi-torque standard kits?

I'm trying to find a cheap solution for now. If I can use different risers (water inlet relocation, etc) and keep the stock manifolds for now I'd prefer that. I'm just confused on could work.

there are other perf type risers that fit on stock merc manifolds. BUT the performance problem is the small hole at the top of the merc manifold. doesn't flow enough air for more than 400 or so hp at best. so, you will spend 800 bucks on risers that will not get you any noticable performance improvement over stockers. and then won't work on any real performance exhaust you get later, cuz they fit stock merc manifolds only. will it stop the reversion? maybe, but they aren't all that long, so maybe not. best bet IMO woul be to de-cam it to something that stock manifolds can handle until the exhaust that can handle that cam is doable.

Thank you... that's what I needed to hear. I'll just buck up for the real performance manifolds and be done with it.

I am... but not in a position to buy yet. If they don't sell and you hold on to them for a bit then let me know.
