Msd ignition like 6M for 454 - 400 hp

Hi, I am new in this great Forum, thanks for the opportunity, sorry my english i from Italy, ......i have a baja 27 with a marck 4 mercruiser 454 with 400hp carburetor not computer, and bravo 3, . My question is :

What happend if i installed a MSD IGNITION LIKE 6md o what model use my engine? Is good idea ?

Ericki you put this in the wrong section. I would repost in Technical Section.I have a similar engine and Use the MSD 6M system. The M is for Marine and thats what you want.

Sorry wannabe, it was my first post, ir you have the same msd in similar engine Please can you give me your comments, incrase miles? Incrase performance?

I doubt you will see any gains by putting an MSD box on. The stock ignition is also more reliable than an MSD.
