Anybody using wide band A/F gauges while running?
Curious to see if anybody uses A/F gauges while running to monitor and tune their engines? And if you are, do you use just one or do you use 2 to monitor both sides of the exhaust? Will the O2 sensors last at all in the harsh salt water environment with all the pounding? I figure this would be good info to have available for the guys running supercharges. I am going to be N/A for peace of mind I think t would be a good idea to be able to see just how rich or lean you are running......... Thanks...TBF

killed 3 in about 2 hours...any water gets to them and they are done form what I see...some get by, but a lot have the same results as I did...type of exhaust has everything to do with it...I have lightning...

I have killed several with stainless marine. I'm changing to a dry setup where it mixes at the tip to help.

We've run them since 1997 without an issue, always in fresh water.

I had permanent ones on my 33.. in the Lightning headers they were fine.. my current boat no so much

Very nice install... Looks fantastic! I will be using a plate in between the dry joint of my 496 HO exhaust so I should be far away from any moisture problems...... 114 LSA cam should keep me out of reversion issues. I was looking at Electric gauges but I think I will just stay with old fashioned analog pointers as most of my boating is done in the bright Florida sun with dark sunglasses..... TBF

Daytona Wide Band with Data Log. I have installed on numerous applications. We have a bezel and bracket, that Daytona, doesn't offer. This bracket was used on this application, but no bezel, due to the carbon panel we had made. You can make your own bracket, by bonding an L bracket to rear of dash and tie wrapping it in place and have patience fitting the unit into a cut-out.

Nice... I think every high powdered engine should have wide band monitoring..... Either carb or FI, it is cheap insurance to be able to watch for signs of fuel delivery issues......TBF

I like the FAST set up too since they are the only ones that have 20' long o2 wires option
