Keith: I just put in the bottom plugs this season to get the water out. I really like the idea of an outside Zerk. I still have the original bolts and use new "O' rings every time I re-seal. I am not sure what you mean with the SS hex bolts and washers. Do you
use and "O" rings or rubber washers?

To hold the cover on I use regular bolts - I think stock was allen head bolts right?

They cant leak, they arent tapped through.
