Best Gaskets
I'm building new motors would Fel-Pro gaskets be the best to use for the oil pan, timing chain cover and intake gaskets or is there something better that don't leak ??
|
Felpro is a good gasket but it depends what intake you use. I use edelbrock aluminum intakes so I use Edelbrock intake gaskets. Seals better.

i dont use or recomend useing any intake gasket that has the silicone around the port.i like the mr gasket intake manifold gaskets,i put a smear cote of the right stuff on the head and the manifold and never had a problem.the fel pro line of gaskets is also good imo.

Cometic makes a nice intake gasket.

i agree, big boost alcohol engines require a o ring and a reciever groove, low boost[15 lbs or less]a mls gasket is all you need.i have used fel pro marine gaskets on 1000 hp marine engines in the past, but the mls gaskets are now the way to go.
