to spend north of 60k on a cafe it better have something stronger than bravo's hanging off the back. Rebarbox's cafe would be the only one i would consider in that price range. it comes with a spare set of 3's and has brad smith power in it. nuff said there. the only other cafe i would be looking at with big power is the one in tulsa oklahoma. it has nice power and speedmasters. goofy paint but nice race hatch on it and nice trailer for 40kish.

pm me if you would like his phone number

Here is a picture of my 1986 Cigarette Cafe that I may be interested in selling. It has freshened 502's, TRS drives, and it was updated in early 2000. Let me know if you are interested.

My buddy Randy built that boat. That thing is still one of my favorites super clean and timeless paint imo.

If you're easy on the drives there have been a number of people with that power and no drive problems. Longevity is up to your right hand.

Any boat that age should be checked for rot obviously but stringer and transom rot is unheard of in cafés with the exception of a handful of early cafés where the tabs were misdrilled. There are certain people on here who bring that up like it was an epidemic problem.

You will LOVE a cafe, but unfortunately I don't think cafés are worth in the 50's anymore.

Nope - I don't beat on mine (my boat that is). LOTS of people on this website don't. Every poker run I have ever done has had a large percentage of people that cruise the entire run in the 50mph range.
