fuel injection
 

I plan on adding fuel injection to my 509 cube 650 HP NA engine this winter.
I would like your opinion on brand and if you would do throttle body or port injection.
Also If the funds are found I may build a 600+ cube 850/900 HP NA engine.
The new engine will get built in the next year...
SO the system needs to be able to do 650 as well as 900 HP NA.
The new engine will probably have a tunnel ram so it needs to be able to add another throttle body.

Fast Marine 2.0 with self tune, real time tuning and data log. You can add or change anything at any time. Definitely go port injection.

the self tuning units require a 02...lots of luck there...depending on exhaust if you can keep they totally dry..most cannot, a port EFI with a laptop tuned ECM that does not require a 02 is gong to be best but going to have to get used to tuning while running the boat to get it right..we built our own and use mega squirt ECM, works excellent, you can fine tune fairly easily..

The Daytona has dry exhaust so the O2 sensor shouldn't be too much of a problem.

We haven't had a problem with a wideband 02 sensor and we've been running them since 1997. Maybe it's placement maybe it's just luck. You need some way of knowing your A/F ratio.
