CMI etops and tail pipe question

Hey guys, I've just picked up a set of cmi etops and tails for my 454 bbc engine. I did not purchase them from the same person and I thought all the etops manifolds and tails were the same. Just different lengths and shape for the tails. Now I think the tails will not work with the headers. The flange o.d on the my etops measures at 4 7/8" while the tail pipe o.d. measures 5 1/2" . When looking for info on this at CMI website they make no mention of the flange sizes. They only list one etop clamp to secure them together. cmi 36190. Does anyone know if these will mate up? Thanks

Pics would help. They made 2 different types...rope seal and gasket seal.

I'll get some pictures. I think they use the gasket seal. Thanks

So Deep, That's the clamp system I've seen. Do you know if it will work with my flanges being 4.875" on the manifolds and 5.25" on the tail pipes?

Thank guys for the help.

Also, I took some more measurements. The ID of the manifolds is 3.5" The ID of the tail pipes is 4" . Tried calling CP and CMI and can't get anyone to pick up the phone> Thanks

It's very hard to tell from your pic but almost looks to me that the header has a taper on the sealing flange which I think takes the rope seal . The tail flange looks to be for a gasket seal . As far as the two sizes of flanges I really don't know the answer , sorry . Make sure the two flange types are compatible before you go any further .

Thank you Dave @CMI for taking the time to answer my questions. It was great speaking with you. Have a great day.
