Post your engine pics!

I'm building a 540 with a 3.3 whipple, looking for ideas. I'm doing a black block, thinking of a grey/graphite something for the valve covers and blower, with red pulleys.

Here are some cool ones, I REALLY like the new Whipple motor in the SV43... Love the black exhaust-

Post em up!

SDG00880, Is that a 5.3 or 6.0? Are you really trying to use that? Where do you intend to get marine exhaust for it?

marine power makes a cast set or cmi makes headers..

Really...I had no idea anyone was making marine components for these engines. That's pretty cool!

KRAUSMOTORSPORTS 01-17-2014 08:45 PM

Wow nice setups! Also digging the black stealth look on those headers!

sdg0080 01-18-2014 05:12 AM

Baja226 yes I am using that engine. Its a 6.0 and I have a thread on what's truely needed for an ls swap. Lightning headers makes a killer exhaust for it... if you can stomach the price. Haxby speed has aluminum take offs.

370CI LS with complete watercooled exhaust. Testing now, then all I have to do is build a twin.

"Polished" as in, internal engine polishing is different than "polishing" for aesthetics.

What do the ss screens do?

In the event of a part failure in the top end they will keep the parts larger than the screen away from the shortblock and oil pump. These screen kits have saved a lot of motors from a catastrophic failures.
