Whipple Upgrade kits
 

Hi Guys,

Rebjuilding stock merc 600SCI's and going to incorporate the Whipple Stage 2 upgrade to get more power. I was curious to see what experience you've had with the package in the past regarding performance AND reliability.

I have had the stage 2 on mine since my engine had 13 hours, it has 100 now and I have had no issues at all, the engine is a lot more responsive and the boat speed increased 10 mph it is the best $2700 dollars I have evry spent on a boat but if I were rebuilding my engine I would do the stage 4 to get rid of the puny cam that comes in the 600, I thank the cam that comes in the 700sci is the cam that comes with stage 4 kit. Ether way I think it is a must for these engins it really wakes them up.
