Vessel view codes?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone knows what this means? (525 EFI) I have an "active alarm". "PTOT CKT LO" WHat on earth does that mean? Thx P |
PTOT CKT LO" Pitot ckt lo is a code you will get if the pressure transducer for the electronic water pressure gauge is not being used (plugged in) or if it is being used, be sure there is no interference from the sensor wire harness being to close to the spark plug wires as that could through an active fault. You may find the link below interesting, I did.;) http://clubsearay.com/archive/index.php/t-45887.html |
I am sure it WAS... P I T O T.. typo on my part.
Thanks... I check the sensor. I don't even know where it is or what it looks like, :) but I check around. |

Pitot sensor measures water pressure from speedometer pickup at sterndrive and transforms it to digital signal for vessel view or smartcraft instruments . It has no effect on engine run and it can be disabled through vessel view calibration.
