Scarab was 24. So not the same as a scarab

Its not a scarab and will be a rough ride when it gets lumpy

thanks does that also mean expecting speed is also a waste? Sadly I barely get out in the rough stuff or am able to due any top speed runs. The wife only lets me have my balls when she and the kids are out of the boat) I boat in inland lakes in Ontario

Depends on what you want out if the boat. Every boat serves a different purpose. For instance you wanna go fast and ride decent get a fountain. Wanna ride quick and be comfortable get a formula. A formula won't generally run as fast as say a fountain but it will have more amenities.

The real question is what do you want out of the boat? An extra 5 mph? Do you wanna run 80?

GENERALLY speaking, the deeper the deadrise the smoother the ride in the rough. THe shallower the deadrise the faster the boat will be.

Thanks I think its fair to say that I want what all non rich guys want
speed, comfort, stability, cheap, loud, quiet, amenities, light, I want it all. Kind of like champagne tastes on a beer budget
