TRIM MASTER PUMP Q's.
 

I recently installed a used trimmaster pump in my boat.... The stuff came in pieces. I put it together but I noticed a couple things that I am not sure of.

1) Where the pick up tube for the pump goes into the reservoir... It just goes into about a half inch hole with no seal. Should there be a seal or grommet here? can somebody check theirs for me????

2) The two halves of the reservoir come apart top and bottom. What if anything should this be sealed with?
