yeah, that's all ive been able to find... what i'm looking for is a pump rather than a pressurized tank or accumulator.

then, it could serve multiple purposes.

prime system for initial startup of each season
act as backup pump if there are oil pressure issues (verify oil pressure w/o motor running if gauge drops)
easy oil changes
no dry starts during the boating season

Doing some OSO searching i found this picture that Vinnie P posted.
this is the kind of setup i'm looking for

Wow... thats an old picture. I have been using that system for years with no issues at all. It has worked well. Great for quick oil changes as well.

What about Varna. I think their website is www.varnaproducts.com

Also who's system is that above in the pic. Is that the old KE system as I'm trying to remember what that system looked like.. THX

I might have a Melling pressurized prelube tank solution for season start up. I have recently purchased the tank for this seasons start up but, have not tried it yet. It is called the Melling MPL-101. I am going to rig up the fittings to make season start up a snap. If anyone has any suggestions, please pass them along. I hope this helps.

Check out the video and link. I will let you know how it works when I give it a try.

I put one together years ago. I used a Tilton pump. I think it was made by the same people that made Tilton starters. The pump was used for transfering differential oil through an oil cooler in off road racing.

This is a system that Keith Eickert sold. It included two brackets to hold the an Aeromotive pump and an the filter, a check valve and some the misc AN fittings including the oil pan and fitting.

Doesn`t seem too complicated:
my stuff is all taken apart but i took some pics for ya:

Pump picks up from pan

Aeromotive check valve to oil adapter is how mine was set up.. This year I`d like to utilize it to change the oil too .. thats gonna require some more plumbing.

thanks!

yep, that's my thought too... IMO, since it's only building pressure for start up and oil changes, not that crucial to buy some proven kit... just as easy to build a system using a quality pump and check valve

The masterlube system doesn't pick oil up from the pan. It is directly plumbed into the oil pressure system, When activated it allows pressurized oil, stored in an accumulator into the system prior to cranking. After start up it is re-pressurized by the engine oil pressure and you then turn it off. I have two complete systems available.
