What Prop?
 

I have a 23' SeaRay with a 454 Mag EFI 385 hp. The engine bumps the rev limiter at WOT. The Bravo I outdrive has a 3 blade 23 pitch Mirage on it now. I've been advised that a 4 blade Bravo I would suit me better, but I do not know wheter to buy a 24 pitch or a 22 pitch prop.

Anybody with a similar engine and boat length setup been through this and have any advice? I'm having problems finding any props to "try out". I would like to get on plane faster and fo the prop to perform better in turns. Flat out speed is not the most important item to me. The boat runs about 63 or so with the 3 blade prop, but I don't really need to go that fast much.

You usually pitch down when going to a four blade but since you are already on the rev limiter it is just a guess. I would really check around and try to find one of both to try. One of the two will probably work well but I wouldn't spend the money until you were able to try both. if you had to buy one without testing I would buy the 24 since you are already on the rev limiter.
