Vinny very nice work! It is possible you will need a re-cal on the ECU depending on the temp it will hold. I am a staunch believer in closed cooling, been running it since 1983 or so.
Can you tell me the part number of the T stat housings? I want to check something.

Marc,
Here are the part #'s I used.
housing 861188a1
cover 807075a1
As far as re-cal of the ecu's, I dont think it will be necessary. I used the stock 142* t-stats. I am very confident that this heat exchanger can handle these engines. I have actually used this same heat exchanger on another bigger cubic inch engine package, making considerable more power. The temps on that engine stay within a few degrees of the t-stat.

I was just trying to figure out the water flow but it looks like you have it handled - again, great job!
As far as temp that is good news. Only thing about the blower motor is that it creating more heat than a NA motor of the same power. I used to be able to tell you how much more but I can't remember. Maybe 20%? I seem to remember brake specific numbers close to .6 for the blower motors. NA is roughly .5

Marc,
I agree about blowers creating heat. However, with the exception of having to go .030 in the bores, these engines have not been modifed at all. I have only seen the boost guage hit 3 psi at wot. Hopefully, not enough to matter.

I got the stb engine completed today. The plumbing was a bit of a nightmare. There is just not enough room to run all the hoses. Now that I have one engine done, the other should go easier.
