exhaust tips with big turndown

i have seen this setup on i think a big formula cruiser. thru hull exits above waterline and tip turns down so exit is underwater when not on plane. where would i find something like this? and what are the drawbacks?

Drawbacks: No cool idle sound, especially when next to a sea wall. You can't make everyone jump when you fire the engine(s). :) Q&Q gives you an option but I only use it at idle when I need to. Like around cops. :)

What about the theory of condensation up inside the pipe,s or or drilling a hole in the high side of the pipe so to let it breath when dead in the water ???

The major drawback I see is when installed they look gayer than 2 dudes kissing in the back seat of a Prius

All I keep thinking is moisture galore on turn downs.... How could they NOT suck for moisture issues?

How are the Gatling Gun inserts? They look cool and hypothetically seem like they would work.

how could moisture be any worse than thru prop? and it will be under molded swim platform so no gayness will be evident...

Yep. Keep it in the bedroom or under the swim platform :) . Big cam and blown engines don't use through prop exhaust.
