Default Anyone using a dry sump oiling system? Need some pics.

Hello all.
I have an old supercat 509 that I'm using for power.
I plan on keeping it dry dumped and started to mock everything up for fitment.
I'll be ordering a tank and pan very soon. Having a custom pan and tank made so I get exactly what I need.

My issue today is mounting the pump. I have a barnes 5 stage pump with two mounting plates. Ive searched the net several times, including barnes site, and cannot find much of anything in regards to mounting the pump to a bbc.

I have a combo power steering pump and alternator on the port side so I need to keep the pump low.

If anyone has done this I would very much appreciate any tips and especially pictures.

Thanks, rob

We have done some with stock Merc accessories but had to modify the stock brackets to work around the dry sump pump. Have Stef's build your pans....top notch, 2 other co pans have failed (cracked) in less than a year. I have the power steering engine tucked away but can pull it out tomorrow and take some pics for you.

What are some of the advantages with dry sump motors?

Thanks for the photo Brian. Much appreciated.

I just ordered some pulleys today from cv. They make a bunch of circle track gear and had a really nice gilmer setup. I had to fabricate a custom mounting bracket for my oil pump but, I think it will work perfectly.

Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
