I have ordered and installed new headers and tails from CMI. David, is my sales rep. I have had tails made exiting through existing holes in transom with no issues with fit. I would double check the build sheet measurements against remeasuring the transom. Type block, heads will change fit, also if the engines are not in a straight line with transom or cocked to one side ever so slightly it will angle the tail throught the transom.
