hydrolic steering question please help
 

I have a single engine 502 bravo drive that I added dual ram steering to only the outside part a couple of years ago. Im about to order the inside part now to have the completed steering. My question is do I need to order the kit with the remote reservoir or do I even need to have a remote one?????? Thanks guys in advance.

I have dual ram full hyd. steering no ext. reservoir and have had no problems.

I would get a reservoir. There may not be enough volume of PS fluid without it.

Thats what I was wondering if that would be an issue. I just didnt know what the purpose of the extra reservoir was for. Thank you guys.

previous boat ran a single ram full system without a reservoir and no issues.

My current boat has ITS and that doesn't have a reservoir either.
