Hello,
Just reading your post here from quite a while back. Sounds like you're in the know with the 525s. I have a pair of 1999 525SC that are in very good condition, but looking to increase my output. The obvious goal is as much power/torque as possible, without having to go into the bottom ends. In other words, I'd like to shoot for the biggest bang for the buck. Thinking definitely a larger blower to start, but if it make more sense to to blower, heads, and cams, then that's the route I'd take. Having said that, inter-cooling is interesting as well; just really wanting to find the combination that will achieve the most gain. Your thoughts are appreciated.
Thank you

I would be interested in the original blower if you upgrade

With 250 blowers and a cam change you should get to just over 600hp. Add better heads and you should get around 650hp.

Had a 525sc in my old 27 fever, did AFR 265 partially CNC'd heads with a 106cc chamber which bumped compression to around 8.6:1, and converted to hydraulic roller cam from Bob Madara. With a 3" top pulley it made 5.6lbs of boost at peak power and was 689.4hp@6300rpms and 675ft lbs@4200. With the stock top pulley it made 3.5lbs of boost and was 649.6hp@6200rpms and 625.9ft lbs@4200.
