Boat Trailer

Just wondering if any one else has ever had this happen to them.

I have a 26 ft cig that rides on a custom tandum aluminum trailer built by South Florida Trailers . It looks just like the one on the OSO links Page . My problem is the damn thing floats . I mean the tops of the fenders almost stick an inch out of the water. I've tried Putting weights on it but never enough. It takes roughly 165lbs to put it down. That s me standing on it.
I was kinda wondering if I shoudn't just leave the thing hooked up to the boat next time I put in. HA HA:)
