I think it's 35 ft lbs for all

53 to 55 ft lbs for older U Bolt for Bravo and Alpha and if you have the thicker U bolt newer style I think its 65 ft lbs. Have to double check that newer style because Merc first came out with 70 ft lbs then changed it to a lower spec. I always forget the lowered spec.

If yours is the OEM original transom assembly from 1994 your torque spec for the gimbal ring pinch bolts is 53 to 55 ft lbs. See you at the BPR.

I took it as the inner transom plate bolts, sorry about that.

As tight as u can get them until it is obvious youa re going to strip the bolt, and tighten them every year as part of your regular maintenance. Save your gimbal ring. Do it on the hottest summer day with the transom baking in the sun.

Older Bravo Gimbals were notorious for loosening up, and if you were in a corrosive environment it was even worse.

If you already have some wear in the gimbal pin socket, then tighten the crap out of them. With stainless bolts and nuts, you can feel them go "limp" right before they strip.
