Oil sending unit and -----?
Who can I email a pic to post it for me? I have the sending unit and what looks to be a switch of some sorts? Just would like to know what it is, I'm changing from small blocks to big blocks and have to swap the harness

Looks like a switch for an idiot light.
Hummm I guess that could be. No light on the dash but someone could have removed it

Sometimes they're used to shut off an electric fuel pump at 0 oil pressure, as in the motor is not running.
Pretty sure that's a safety switch for the electric fuel pump next to the coil. Crusader engine?
i think that switch is being used for two things.1-worning system for low oil pressure.2-ground for fuel pump, shuts fump off if no oil pressure.
