aftermarket mechanical fuel pump
Is there supposed to be a direct swap aftermarket mechanical fuel pump for the Mercruiser serpentine driven fuel pump system? I bought a Holley marine not thinking anything of it, and the arms are clearly different? Am I just supposed to modify the arm? Or is there a different pump to get?
Thanks,. |
I know of, and used one, for the v belt setups.
Search including the term airtex and it should show up |
Take the bottom half off the Holley and attach it to the stock mercruiser top.

I actually thought about doing that. Is that actually what you're supposed to do? I've been doing some more searching - is the Mercruiser 454 pump actually a SBC pump? The arms look similar to that of a SBC fuel pump. Thanks! |

so is there any way to get the Holley 110 GPH fuel pump to work or, if you want something other than a stock replacement do you have to go with electric?
Thanks again. |
60932 is the pump you want.

I bought a Carter from Summit Racing for my 350 Mercruiser. It had a different arm, but bolted right on and my engine runs flawlessly. I will be putting it in the water tomorrow, I'll let you know how it runs.
