1999 Merc 454 mag ign issues
Guys, need some ideas.. I have a 99 454 mag (twins) and my port engine has a miss or cutout when decelerating that seems to happen around 3500rpm. It does not seem to do it upon acceleration , but when cruising along at 4000 a 4500 rpm and pull the sticks back I get bad cutout on my port engine, lose like 300-400 rpm's on the tack and it last's maybe 15-20 seconds, then smooths back out. Very annoying!.... I have tried plugs & ignition module so far... Gonna try cap & rotor tomorrow, may also try to switch coils..... Any ideas on this one!! ?
