What are they worth?
 

I have two matching 454's built by Beck Racings Engines (B.R.E.) That I am considering selling but I am wondering what they are worth. There are both complete and are solid, healthy and run excellent with 80 hours on them.

Mark iv 454 blocks, 4 bolt main, bored .30 over
All Forged internals
Srp Pistons 9.8 to 1 compression
Grumpy Jenkins Merlin Heads
Solid Mechanical marine cam aprox. .550 lift
Crane gold roller rockers
Edelbrock victor Jr. high rise intake
Holley 1050 dominator carb (obviously too much carb, them seemed to be sized down with large air bleeds)
All bolts and studs are ARP
Polished aluminum tall valve covers (Teague)
SS thermostat and cross over
remote filter and cooler
Thunderbolt iv ignition w/v6 module

Any idea what they are worth?

Maybe 5k each on a good day. The builds look more like drag race engines than marine engines.

I would say 3-5k with 5 being lucky. Looking online you can get rebuilt marine 454s for 4 brand new
